CAOS – Centro per le Arti Opificio Siri (Art Center SIRI Factory) is a cultural center devoted to art fruition and creative production.

A property of the Terni Municipality, and born from the reconversion of the ex chemical factory Siri, CAOS is currently managed by a temporary association of firms (A.T.I.), which is designated to run the planning and the services.

Because of its DNA, CAOS has pledged 5600 sq. m. to culture, experimentation, and innovation. The public can appreciate this investment daily, as it is entertained by 4 individuals, 23 heads, and 46 arms that are always in motion to promote countless ideas and artistic languages.

CAOS is composed of a plurality of spaces, which are matched by an overview of activities including the staging of provisional exhibitions, the organization of events to research, promote, and host new talent, and international projects and workshops.

CAOS aims at being an actuator center, a diversified place committed to research, and able to act as a cultural catalyst for the city, and as a propulsive engine generating contemporary projects that maintain close linkages with tradition. It is a center that exceeds the space within its walls.

CAOS is essential stop-over in the context of redefining the city of Terni while pursuing contemporaneity: reclaiming the spaces of the ex Siri marks an emblematic and important scanning of the economic, architectural, and urban changes that are transforming the city profile–a profile no longer destined to industrial production but continuously evolving.
